What BloxFig uses

When you connect Roblox, BloxFig receives your Roblox user ID and the permissions you approve. The Figma plugin stores the Roblox access and refresh tokens in Figma plugin client storage. BloxFig's Cloudflare service receives tokens to complete sign-in, check creator access, and upload images to Roblox, but does not save those tokens in its database. BloxFig does not ask for your Roblox password.

When you export, your selected Figma layers are rendered as PNGs and sent through the BloxFig service to Roblox. BloxFig does not save those PNGs in its database. It stores layer names, layout metadata, Roblox image asset IDs, and moderation states with a hashed transfer code so the companion Studio plugin can import them. Anyone with the transfer code can retrieve that package during its lifetime, so keep the code private.

Why the data is used

BloxFig uses this information to provide the export and import you request. Roblox handles account authorization and stores uploaded images. Cloudflare hosts BloxFig's connection service and transfer database. Figma runs the design plugin. These providers may process technical request information under their own privacy policies.

For UK users, the legal basis for processing account and export information is performance of our contract with you under the BloxFig Terms of Service. The service providers may process information outside the UK under their applicable transfer arrangements; contact us for more information.

Retention and control

Pending sign-in records expire after ten minutes and are removed by a daily cleanup. Transfer packages expire after seven days and are removed by the following daily cleanup. Tokens remain in Figma plugin client storage until you disconnect BloxFig or that storage is cleared. Disconnecting in BloxFig requests revocation of the Roblox refresh token; you can also revoke BloxFig in your Roblox authorized apps. Roblox may keep uploaded images under its own policies.
